I find it very interesting that social media is such a big part of Public Relations because I know that aren’t too many other careers that will use social media sites, such as http://www.twitter.com/ as a part of their job. I feel that twitter is a good social media site because there are so many connections and so many people to network with and http://www.facebook.com/ as well. http://www.youtube.com is actually another good social media aspect for PR because almost anything can be posted on YouTube and can be seen by anyone in the world which his good for Public Relations and marketing as well.
Hello, I liked how you brought up Youtube as a great public relations resource. I feel that with a lot of focus on Twitter and Facebook recently Youtube has been a bit forgotten but still offers a great way to reach people. In a video production class that I am in we are currently making a viral video for a company that wants to place it on Youtube when we are done to build attention for them.

I agree with you that twitter is an amazing way to connect with companies and people in general. I also liked how you brought youtube into your blog because not a lot of people think of youtube when they think of social media.
