I thought that the BMA event was AWESOME! It felt really good get feedback about myself and my resume from actual professionals. I thought that the resume part was important because I got two different views about my resume, both good and not so good which will help me to improve. But the most valuable part to me was the speed interviews. Even though I messed up a couple of times, I got a lot of good feedback about my confidence, appearence, and overall positive attitude. But I was told that i could work on my preparation to questions being asked and my overall response to questions. I took everything that was said to me as constructive criticism and will use everything to make me stronger for the future.

All about ME!!!
Hello,
My name is Brittney Manns and I am a second year Public Relations student at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I didn't come into college knowing that Public Relations was my destiny... I came into college as a pre- business major. I thought that I wanted to own my own business, but as I looked in to the classes that I had to take and realized that most of the classes were math related, that changed my mind. I then talked to an upperclassmen and they said that I had a good speaking voice, and that i should look into Public Relations. I looked into the major and realized that this is what I wanted to do with my life so here I am! My short term goal is to learn more about Public Relations and get internships and my long term goal graduate from UW-Whitewater within the next two years and get settled into my career working at a Public Relations agency. After working at a PR agency for a little while, I plan on moving to a big city ( probably chicago because I don't want to be too far from my family) and being very sucessful with my Public Relations degree.
